Bill McDowell’s Website
I am nearly finished Bill McDowell’s website. There are a few changes to be made and a few albums to add, but it’s viewable now. He’s one of my favorite photographers. Enjoy. http://billmcdowellphoto.com

I’m almost done redesigning and implementing the UVM Art Department website using WordPress 3 instead of the rather old and cumbersome “magicscript” template system that is the default for UVM. The test version is here: www-dev.uvm.edu/~artdept/new/
My work and a few other people’s sparked a discussion about using wordpress for a site-wide CMS. I really hope this happens. It would save a bunch of people time and money that nobody has.
I finished thedaysweight.com today. I have to tweak a few things here and there, but generally I’m happy with it. Enjoy!
I finally updated Wayne Levin’s website the other day. The design is pretty much the same. It’s the back-end that is different. He is running ZenPhoto, a CMS built around an image gallery core. The template engine is the easiest I’ve ever used. And it is so fast! Wayne will be putting up a bunch of new images soon. He was excited the other day when he got 400 unique visits to his site. This was before the update. That’s 62,000 hits in one day!
I just put up a new design for the site. It has more horizontal space now for some new photographs coming soon. Wow. Just spent eight hours straight on it. I haven’t tested on IE yet and I’m not thrilled that I have to. I wish IE would die a horrible death so I could just stop wasting my time with it.
I just finished www.stevebudington.com for Steve Budington. Whoa!
There’s a new photo archive on the site. Runs in jquery. Very nice. Check it out by clicking on Visual Studies in the nav bar.
After many sleepless hours of coding, v1 of a basic re-design to UVM’s website is up and running. Links (as many of them as I could get) work as well.
Check it out here.
